The University of Toronto (U of T) has been recognized as one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for 2017 for the 11th consecutive year! U of T has been honoured with this award every year since its inception.

Winners were announced on December 12, 2016 in a Greater Toronto’s Top Employers magazine, published by the Globe and Mail. The award announcement notes that “like the metropolitan area it represents, the competition has become exceptionally strong and competitive — so much so that, for Toronto-area employers, the minimum scores to secure a place on the [Greater Toronto Area] GTA list routinely rank among the highest in the nation.”

In November, U of T was named as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for the tenth year.

Canada’s Top 100 Employers are chosen annually by Mediacorp Canada Inc. in a national competition to determine which employers lead their industries in offering exceptional workplaces for their employees.
