Please consider donating to United Way this year

As we reach the halfway point of the 2021 University of Toronto United Way Campaign, we wanted to acknowledge how generously U of T students, faculty, librarians, staff and alumni have supported our local community.

Since our campaign launch in October, 303 individuals have contributed $283,833.16 to United Way this year. If you are able, we would greatly appreciate your support in joining your colleagues who have already contributed and supported our 2021 campaign.

DONATE TODAY

When you make your donation to United Way’s Community Recovery Campaign, you become a vital part of building an inclusive recovery.

With your support, United Way will:

  • Ensure folks have their basic needs met – a safe place to call home, food on the table and a stable, secure job through a region-wide network of 280 agencies.
  • Lead with equity by increasing investments to organizations led, focused on and serving Black and Indigenous people and other equity-seeking groups.
  • Coordinate a community response by building up local resources, supporting residents and local neighbourhood leaders and convening government and other stakeholders to ensure there are no gaps in support.

Let’s make sure no one gets left behind in our recovery.

Use this link to make a personalized donation  and say “yes” to joining the Community Recovery Campaign. Today and together, we will build back better.

If you signed up to donate through payroll deduction in 2021, please note that it will not automatically renew in 2022. We invite you to renew your contribution commitment for 2022.

You may also choose to make a personal donation directly targeted to any one of the over 280 partner and anchor agencies of the United Way engaged in poverty-reduction activities across the community.
