Nominations for Equity Survey Advisory Group

To understand if we are making progress on our commitments to equity, diversity, and inclusion, all faculty, staff and librarians of the University are asked to complete the Employment Equity Survey. This data is presented in the annual Employment Equity Report, which provides a snapshot of the composition of the University’s tri-campus employees. It also provides a critical baseline for measuring how we are advancing a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive working and learning environment.

The Employment Equity Survey questions were last revised in 2016 when the Survey was updated to include questions beyond the Federal Contractors Program (FCP) requirements.

We are asking for nominations for candidates to serve on the Equity Survey Advisory Group.

The Advisory Group will re-evaluate the Survey with the following mandate:

  • evaluate the effectiveness of the survey questions
  • analyze how and with whom the University shares the survey data
  • suggest updates to make the Employment Equity Survey more comprehensive
  • advise on how to make the survey a more meaningful experience for our community

To be a member of the Equity Survey Advisory Group please
complete this short nomination form by January 14th. Applicants should have experience working with or being an end-user of equity data.
