As the VP of Research and Innovation, and Strategic Initiatives, I am delighted that our entrepreneurship community is Canada’s leading engine for research-based startups. Among them, Lead with Dignity aims to alleviate homelessness, mental health and other related issues in Ontario and abroad by offering employment support and micro-lending strategies.
That our University community produces new, solution-focused companies that share our values and do powerful work toward our social goals is a source of immense pride. I am also proud that we also stand up each year and give generously to United Way.
