The USW 1998 Human Rights Committee is seeking 132 volunteers at all knitting and crocheting skill levels from the U of T community.

Starting September 19, groups will start work on creating 132 scarves, which will be displayed on trees around all three campuses on December 6, 2016.

Afterwards, these scarves will be distributed by USW Local 1998 members to those in need.

Each group will have one or more skilled instructor.

Goal:

132 scarves will be created to recognize Bill 132 — which amends various laws with respect to sexual violence, sexual harassment and domestic violence — for a one-day art installation of scarves across campuses on December 6th, 2016 to commemorate the École Polytechnique Massacre.
