Need to make changes to your benefits coverage?

Employees enrolled in University of Toronto Benefit Plans must submit a request to change benefits before March 16

Each year in March, the University of Toronto offers employees the opportunity to make changes to their extended health, dental, vision, and semi-private hospital benefits coverage. At this time, employees may opt to change the level of coverage or opt into a new plan.

This is the only time during the year that benefits coverage can be changed, other than in the event of a change in family status (such as marriage or divorce), or if an employee’s spouse/partner loses or gains equivalent coverage.

How to Request a Change to Employee Benefits

To change your level of coverage or to opt into a new plan, contact your HR Divisional Office before March 16, 2018. If a change is made, applicable deductions will begin in March, while updates to your coverage will be active on April 1st, 2018.
