Rotman School of Management. Over 150 award recipients attended the celebration and received their award certificates.

Meric Gertler, President of the University of Toronto, congratulated the award recipients and noted that “what all these initiatives have in common are the thoughtful and dedicated individuals behind them – colleagues who, in the course of their daily operations, saw an opportunity for improvement, and stepped up to the challenge.”

The event spotlighted the efforts of 3 individuals and 30 project teams representing over 320 staff and librarians from across the tri-campus, all recognized for their collaborative and impactful work. In her remarks, Erin Jackson, Assistant Vice-President, University HR, remarked, that “innovation at U of T occurs in every workplace across our three campuses. We are so fortunate that every day, our exceptional administrative staff and librarians bring great ideas to fruition, raising the bar for what excellence means in their work.”

Since its inception in 2005, the ETIA program has been an important way to acknowledge the outstanding work of the University’s exemplary administrative staff and librarians. It serves not only as a celebration of these achievements but also as a platform for sharing best practices across our community. The award recipients go above and beyond to contribute to the University’s mission as one of the world’s foremost research-intensive universities, driven to invent and innovate.

Congratulations to all the winners of this prestigious award. Thank you for your efforts and innovation which have made U of T a better place for students, faculty members, librarians, and staff. You serve as an inspiration for our community for continued excellence and innovation.
