Antisemitism Working Group Survey

Equity, diversity and inclusion are fundamental values at the University of Toronto. Building on U of T’s Statement on Equity, Diversity, and Excellence, and Statement on antisemitism and Racism, we are committed to advancing equity within our practices and processes. To that end, the University of Toronto has established the Antisemitism Working Group (ASWG). The ASWG will review programming, activities, processes and practices in place at the institution and make recommendations to support the University’s response to antisemitism. As part of its mandate, the ASWG is responsible for consulting members of the University community, including students, faculty, librarians, and staff, about how to create an inclusive environment where Jewish members of our community feel welcome and respected.

To engage as many university members as possible, the Antisemitism Working Group is inviting the community to complete this consultation survey to share experiences, feedback, and recommendations to the ASWG. The survey will take approximately seven minutes to complete. The information will provide key insights and inform the policy framework recommendations that will be submitted to the University’s senior leadership.

Your responses will be kept strictly confidential, and only members of the ASWG will have access to the information. Reported data will only be done in aggregate form; in other words, reported data will not contain any personal identification. The data collected will be stored with the Anti-Racism and Cultural Diversity Office. Through your participation, we will be able to better understand and address the systemic barriers experienced by members of the Jewish community on our campuses.

Thank you for your participation and support for this ongoing and continuous effort.
