The University of Toronto’s AODA Website was given a significant refresh last year. The site has been re-organized in order to provide a clearer path to access information and resources.
Eight categories of organization include:
- Built environment,
- Teaching resources,
- Service Animals & Support Persons,
- Employment resources,
- Concerns and complaints,
- Events & Customer Service resources,
- Accessible Communications; and,
- The Law.
During the refresh, attention was given to providing new resources to assist in incorporating accessible design practices for web communications. Several articles and tip sheets, including web accessibility checking, are posted.
The AODA Office has launched an AODA Twitter account where you’ll find information and resources about accessibility on campus, as well as regular news and events. Follow us at http://twitter.com/UofTAODA.
