The University of Toronto has just been recognized as one of the Greater Toronto Area’s Top Employers for 2015. The list of winners was announced December 8, 2014 in a special magazine published in the Globe and Mail.

This is the ninth consecutive year U of T has made this list.

In its reasons for selection, the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers cited U of T’s programs such as those which support faculty and staff health and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; physical workplace; work and social atmosphere; training and skills development; and community involvement.

Just last month, U of T was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2015. This is the seventh year it has received this award.
