The United Steelworkers (USW) Local 1998 are holding a Ratification Meeting for the renewal Staff-Appointed Collective Agreement as follows:   

• Monday, September 14, 2026, from 3:00 to 4:30 pm in Convocation Hall 

USW Staff-Appointed employees need to be given release time to attend this meeting. The time for the meeting is slightly earlier than normal because there is a 5:00 pm class scheduled in Convocation Hall. However, employees should not be expected to return to work after the meeting. 

Employees are required to notify their manager if they are attending the meeting.
