Tentative Agreement Ratified between University and USW Local 1998—Staff Appointed

I am pleased to announce that the tentative agreement reached on September 8, 2026, between the University and the USW Local 1998—Staff-Appointed bargaining unit, has now been ratified by employees in the bargaining unit. I would like to extend my thanks to both bargaining teams for their hard work, commitment, and professionalism throughout the process.

The term of the renewal collective agreement is until June 30, 2029.
