I am pleased to announce we have launched two awards, the 2025 Chancellor’s Leadership Award and the 2025 President’s Excellence Award—part of the broader University of Toronto Awards of Excellence (AWEX) program.

The Chancellor’s Leadership Award recognizes administrative staff (unionized and non-unionized) and librarians who demonstrate outstanding leadership and significantly advance the University’s mission to foster an academic community in which the learning and scholarship of every member may flourish. There are three categories of the Chancellor’s Leadership Award.

The President’s Excellence Award recognizes administrative staff (unionized and non-unionized) and librarians for their outstanding service to the University and their role in enhancing the University experience for students, faculty members, librarians and/or staff in accordance with the University’s mission. There are three categories of the President’s Excellence Award.

Any member of the University of Toronto community can nominate another member of the University community.

Nomination Details

Nominations for both awards can be made on the True Blue Recognition Platform until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025.
