Launch of the Performance Assessment Process 2019/2020 for Professional Managerial, & Confidential & Research Associates / Senior Research Associates

Further to VP HR Kelly Hannah-Moffat’s message on September 10th, the annual Performance Assessment Process for Professional & Managerial, Confidential, Research Associate and Senior Research Associate employee groups starts today via SuccessFactors: Performance & Goals. The online tool will go live tonight and be available for you to log in and start working on your Activity Report tomorrow.

Timelines and details about each step of the process for your employee group can be found on the HR Service Centre. Please review the details for your process carefully to ensure that you understand what information and actions are required. Employees’ Activity Reports are due to their Reviewer by September 28th.

New this year – process resources and support for employees and managers

  • Training: This year we are using a more comprehensive training approach aimed at addressing the needs of all process participants. Details on available training resources including job aids can be found on the HR Service Centre.
  • Training Options: Virtual and other types of training on using the new system will be offered. A schedule and additional information will be available in the coming weeks.
  • Manager Training: Specific training for managers on how to write a performance assessment and how to conduct conversations about employee performance will be offered by the Centre for Learning, Leadership & Culture (LLC).

For reference, the 2019/2020 Performance Assessment Process for Advancement Professionals will begin on September 22nd.
