Launch of 2023/2024 Goal Setting Process – Professional & Managerial Staff, Confidential Staff, Research Associates and Senior Research Associates

Dear colleagues,

The 2023/2024 Goal Setting process is now open for Professional & Managerial (PM), Confidential (C), and Research Associate / Senior Research Associate (RA/SRA) employees.

Employees in the PM, Confidential and RA/SRA employee groups are invited to record their goals and professional development activities in the 2024 Goal Plan of the SuccessFactors system for the July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 review period.  Please note that Goal setting process is mandatory for PM, Confidential and RA / SRA employees.

To support employees in reaching their 2024 goals, the Centre for Learning, Leadership & Culture (LLC) has Individual Development Plan (IDP) tools and resources to guide and document meaningful conversations about any development opportunities that would be beneficial. IDPs are a joint exercise between employees and their managers to identify opportunities to develop the employee’s current role and support career aspirations.

As a reminder, please note that this year’s annual Performance Assessment features updated organizational competencies (benchmark behaviours). The new competencies are leadership; equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI); collaboration; stewardship; and innovation and excellence. These changes underscore our commitment to EDI, and better reflect how the workplace has changed in the two decades since we initially developed our organizational competencies.
