Launch of the 2019/20 Goal Setting process for PM, Confidential and SRA/RA employees

Dear colleagues,

Further to the September 26, 2019 memo from Kelly Hannah-Moffat, the 2019/20 Goal Setting process has begun for Professional Managerial, Confidential and Sr. Research Associates/Research Associates (Limited Term) employees. The process for Advancement Professionals will begin on October 15th.

For additional information, please refer to the Goal Setting timelines posted on the Performance Management web page.

In the coming weeks, you will see additional messaging from the Division of HR & Equity with suggestions on how to set specific goals that align with the University’s organizational competencies.

How do I record my Goals and Professional Development Activities in PMGM?

The Employee SuccessFactors: Performance & Goals module (PMGM) training demos & platform walk-throughs for Employees and Managers are available on the SuccessFactors Materials web page.

Where do I find Goal Setting process materials?

Resources related to the Goal Setting process are available for process participants on the Performance Management site of the HR & Equity website. Please refer to your employee group page for specific guidance.

Who do I contact if I have any issues?

If you have any questions about the Goal Setting process or require assistance regarding your goals/professional development activities, please contact your Divisional HR office. Each office has at least one SuccessFactors Super User to provide assistance.


What if my Manager information is incorrect?

Any inquiries about the reporting relationship records should be directed to your Divisional HR Office for correction.


I am having a technical issue with SF: Performance & Goals – who should I contact?
