Re: | Launch of 2016 / 2017 Objective Setting Online Process for 1AP & 2AP (Program Managers) |
‘Objective Setting’ is an essential step in the annual review process linking staff members’ development, success and engagement together. This step includes the forward planning of objectives, expectations and development goals for the coming year.
A collaborative process, Objective Setting occurs between a staff member and their manager and should be discussed and agreed upon together. It provides individuals with greater clarity on expectations and increases engagement by creating a connection between their own work and a Division’s strategic objectives.
The Halogen Objective Setting tool is now available for pilot participants and their managers to record their objectives in the online system. Get started on this year’s online pilot process by visiting the Objective Setting web page.
More details on how to login to the Halogen system can be found on the Performance Management Process web page.
Thank you for your support with this important process.
