July 1 ATB and Merit Increase Process in HRIS

Further to the Compensation Update for Confidential, PM, AP and RA/SRA of June 18, 2021, PM, Confidential, AP, RA and SRA staff are entitled to a merit increase, and PM (1-5), Confidential and RA/SRA staff are entitled to a 1% ATB increase, effective July 1, 2021.

By July 21 monthly pay close, merit and ATB increases must be processed in HRIS using the following reference guide. Please be advised that there will be no automatic update by Central for these processes.

1. PM (1-5), Confidential, RA and SRA

2. PM (6-11) and AP
i. Employee’s most recent Appointment Detail has a segment start date before July 1, 2021 with future or term end date

Please contact Central Payroll Services through the HR Service Centre by the July 19 payroll forms deadline to update the Basic Pay for employees receiving a Supplemental University Benefit (SUB) on July 1 for an approved leave of absence (e.g. Pregnancy, Parental, Adoption, Primary Caregiver Leave or Compassionate Family Caregiver Leave).
