Introduction of COVID-19 Learning Programs for Leaders and Employees

Over the course of 2020, much has changed at the University of Toronto – most notably, the way we are working with our teams. That means changing the way we get things done and how we interact with our managers and our colleagues.

Today, the Centre for Learning, Leadership & Culture is launching two learning programs to support our community as we continue to adapt to our “new normal” during the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to support all leaders and employees in collaboratively creating a better working experience going forward.

For people leaders, we have launched the Leading During Restart & Recovery program.

For all University of Toronto employees, we have launched the Working During Restart & Recovery program.

Depending on your role, you will shortly see these optional learning programs assigned to you via SuccessFactors: Learning. Completion of the courses is optional for leaders and employees. You will receive an automatic system email notification when they are available.

Leading During Restart & Recovery

This program contains two courses designed to help managers succeed as we continue with our “new normal”. This first course, Making the Shift from Manager to People Leader, covers the transition we are undertaking to go from managing people to leading people, as circumstances compel us to work differently. The second course, Leading Inclusively and Managing Remotely, provides practical advice to guide you through this transition.
