Introducing the Centre for Learning, Leadership & Culture (LLC)

We are pleased to announce that the Organizational Development & Learning Centre (ODLC) is evolving to become the Centre for Learning, Leadership & Culture (LLC).

The LLC’s enhanced mission will be centred on workplace culture, leadership capacity, and learning and development. This renewal is informed by internal and external reviews of the ODLC that have been conducted over the past two years, as well as consultations with faculties and divisions.

In support of the University’s bold vision for the future, we will:

  • foster an inclusive workplace culture anchored in employee development (workplace culture)
  • cultivate the University’s leaders of the future (leadership capacity)
  • architect the development resources to support all employees in reaching their career potential (learning and development)

Put simply: we are transforming the ways in which our community perceives and engages with learning, leadership, and culture.

To reintroduce you to the LLC, we are hosting an Open House on Wednesday, October 2. There you’ll have the opportunity to speak with our knowledgeable staff about the LLC’s new services and tools. We encourage you to attend to find out more about how we can help empower you, your clientele, and promote talent excellence.

Join us at the Open House and RSVP by Friday, September 20. There may or may not be hors d’oeuvres, raffle prizes, book giveaways and swag.

As part of this transformation, we will also be launching a new Learning Management System, which will be hosted on the Employee SuccessFactors platform. The new mobile-friendly platform will house career tools to support the U of T community from hire to retire, including learning and professional development courses hosted by the LLC, School of Continuing Studies, and LinkedIn Learning. The new learning management system, and a brand new LLC website, will be launched on Tuesday, September 24.

More information about the new Centre for Learning, Leadership and Culture will be shared with the broader University of Toronto community in the coming weeks.
