I am pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached between the University of Toronto and Unifor, Local 2003 (Operating Engineers and Building Management Systems Technicians). Upon ratification, the term of the renewal collective agreement will be from May 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022.

I would like to thank the bargaining teams for their effort, collaboration and commitment throughout these negotiations.

The Union has advised that the ratification vote is scheduled for April 26, 2021. Employees in the bargaining unit are encouraged to participate in the ratification process.
