Advance Notice: Launch of the 2023 Deferred Performance Assessment Process for Professional & Managerial employees

Further to the April 3, 2023 communication, the 2023 Deferred Performance Assessment process for Professional & Managerial employees begins on October 11, via SuccessFactors: Performance & Goals.   

Please log in to the online tool beginning on October 11 to start working on your Activity Report.   

What is the deferred Performance Assessment process?  

The deferred Performance Assessment process is the same annual Performance Assessment process implemented for Professional & Managerial staff but administered under different timelines. Some employees were unable to complete the 2022/2023 performance assessment process last year for various reasons. Therefore, we are now launching the deferred process for this group.  

2023 Deferred Performance Assessment Process Timeline   

  • On October 11: Deferred process begins.   
  • By October 25: Employees complete the Activity Report in SuccessFactors: Performance & Goals online assessment.  
  • October 26 – November 8: Reviewers submit the completed Performance Assessment with a recommended overall performance rating for Divisional review.  
  • November 9 – November 15: Divisional HR Offices facilitate Divisional review and confirm approved performance ratings to Reviewers.  
  • By November 28: Reviewers conduct face-to-face Performance Assessment discussion. 
  • By December 7: Employees provide their comments and sign off the online form. 
  • December 8: The online process is closed.

Please review the details for your process carefully to ensure that you understand what information and actions are required. Note that performance assessment resources in the Service Centre do not specifically refer to the deferred process, but that other than the different timelines, the information is applicable.
