Dear colleagues, the annual performance assessment process starts on April 19, 2018 for those in the Professional & Managerial and Confidential employee groups.

The process for Advancement Professionals, Research Associates and Senior Research Associates will launch in May.

Goals of Performance Assessment

Meeting to discuss performance is an important opportunity for managers and employees to clarify expectations, recognize accomplishments, focus on priorities, and discuss opportunities for the development of employees. Although the formal performance assessment process takes place annually, I encourage managers and employees to have ongoing meaningful conversations throughout the year with a focus not only on performance results and expectations, but also on future professional development goals.

The 2018 across-the-board and merit increase amounts have not yet been determined and will be communicated once they are available in the coming months.
