Re: | Confidential Employee Group Advisory Committee: Call for members |
On April 29, 2011 Angela Hildyard wrote to all Professional/Managerial and Confidential employees outlining some of the compensation issues facing these employee groups. I am writing to update you on our plans regarding the Confidential Employee group and to invite your involvement.
Professor Hildyard indicated in the letter that we would be developing a new job evaluation system for Confidentials and establishing new salary ranges that take the USW ranges into account. We have solicited proposals from consulting firms to help us with this initiative and will be selecting a firm in the coming weeks.
Another essential component of this review involves the participation of employees from the Confidential employee group. We are looking for three or four Confidential employees to serve as members of an Advisory Committee. The Committee will provide input at various stages of the job evaluation project.
If you are interested in participating in this project and are able to attend one or two meetings per month throughout the fall and spring of 2012, please contact Deborah Ovsenny, Director, Compensation and HRIS Process Optimization at deborah.ovsenny@utoronto.ca by Wednesday, October 19, 2011.
Meetings will occur during regular office hours, so please discuss your participation with your supervisor prior to volunteering.
We will keep all of you informed as we move forward with this important project.
