Re: Launch of 2012 Annual Performance Assessment Process for AP, Confidential and PM Staff groups

I appreciate that the roll out of the 2012 Performance Assessment Process coincides with the still-unfolding provincial budget debate. As Angela committed to you on March 30, we will be in touch as soon as we find out what this means for compensation and applicable pay increases.

Nevertheless, we are proceeding with the performance assessment process as it is an important opportunity to recognize accomplishments, clarify expectations, focus on priorities and discuss opportunities for development.

Please review the details carefully to ensure that you understand what information is needed and the deadlines for 2012. The process is the same as 2011; however, we have made some changes to the way it is communicated.

Should you have any questions about the Performance Assessment Process, please contact your Divisional Human Resources Office.

I thank you in advance for working through this important process.
