Professional / Managerial Advisory Committees – Call for Nominations / Volunteers

This is a reminder that the deadline to submit your Professional/Managerial Advisory Committee nomination/volunteer form is fast approaching. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to nominate a colleague or volunteer for one of the 22 vacancies – 14 on the P/M 1-5 committee, and eight on the P/M 6-9 committee.

As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to participate in discussion and provide me with feedback and advice on a number of issues relating to and impacting the Professional/Managerial group. Some examples of the issues discussed over the past year include: the Professional/Managerial performance assessment tool; the Vacation and Educational Assistance policies for Professionals/Managers; benefits and compensation changes for Professionals/Managers; revamping of the Stepping UP recognition program; and, how to create a culture of recognition. Committee members also received training on the new Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities (AODA) Customer Service Standard.
