- Professional/Managerial Advisory Committees – Call for Nominations
In March 2007, the Professional/Managerial 1-5 and 6-9 Advisory Committees were established, and over the course of the past two years, the committees have been instrumental in providing feedback and advice to me on a range of topics. For a summary of the committees’ activities for the period March 2007 – August 2008, go to:https://people.utoronto.ca/news/memoranda/0809/HR8.htm.
As of June 30, 2009, some members of each committee will conclude their initial term, which means we will have vacancies on both committees for the next term beginning July 1, 2009. The complete Terms of Reference for each committee are available at: https://people.utoronto.ca/groups/pm/pmac.htm.
Each committee’s Terms of Reference sets out the composition of each committee and in keeping with this, we have the following vacancies, all of which will serve for a three year term:
- P/M 1 & 2 (1 vacancy)
- P/M 3 (5 vacancies)
- P/M 4 (2 vacancies)
- P/M 6 (3 vacancies)
- P/M 7, 8 & 9 (3 vacancies)
While the primary purpose is to replace members whose terms are ending, I welcome volunteers and nominations from all levels of Professional/Managerial staff. The volunteer/nomination form is available at:https://people.utoronto.ca/groups/pm/pmac.htm.
Membership will be selected by my office from among those Professional/Managerial staff who volunteer or who are nominated by a colleague, and based on the criteria set out in the committees’ Terms of Reference.
If you are interested in volunteering to be a member of an Advisory Committee or if you wish to nominate a colleague, please complete and submit the volunteer/nomination form to Janice Draper, Secretariat to the Professional/Managerial Advisory Committees, at janice.draper@utoronto.ca or fax to 416-971-2019, by March 20, 2009.
