Re:
Possible TTC Strike

In the event of a TTC strike next week the University will be open for business as usual and employees will be expected to perform their jobs. Classes will operate as normal. Supervisors are asked to remain flexible concerning employees who are delayed in transit. Supervisors should also be flexible regarding specific work schedules, where possible, to facilitate car pooling and use of alternate transportation arrangements. In some cases it may be possible for supervisors to approve employees working from home.

The Parking Office has made arrangements for shuttle buses running between Union Station and Hart House Circle, 6:30 am to 7 pm every half hour effective on the first morning of a TTC strike.

For the University of Toronto Mississauga, the shuttle service will be in operation as per the normal schedule.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates and information as required.
