- Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day
The annual University of Toronto “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2007. All staff and faculty are welcome to bring their daughters and sons with them to work on that day.
As in previous years, an information flyer has been sent to all staff and faculty members inviting them to participate. Registration forms are available on www.hrandequity.utoronto.ca/news/tdswd07 website. Where web access is not readily accessible, forms will be available at various locations throughout the St. George Campus. As for Mississauga and Scarborough Campuses, please visit http://www.utm.utoronto.ca/ and http://www.utsc.utoronto.ca/ respectively.
The day involves many different components: an official welcome in the morning, followed by a guest speaker and many different departmental tours for children to choose from. Lunch this year will be in two different locations- the Faculty Club or the cafeteria in the Medical Sciences Building. Children eat for free and parents can join their children for lunch at a cost of $5.00. After lunch, children will accompany their parents to their respective workplaces for the remainder of the day.
We look forward to welcoming faculty and staff with their daughters and sons on April 26th, to share the work day, to have fun, and to visit some of the most interesting places on the University Campus. We hope to see you there!
