This course provides the user with an online training session using Adobe Connect; it requires learners to have a general understanding of navigating and using the functions on the HRIS system. The course provides users with a presentation on HRIS structures, organizational management and personnel administration and how to correctly complete various HRIS forms. The hands-on format of the session takes the user through the processes of how to create and maintain a position in HRIS and how to use relevant Job and reporting relationship reports.

At the end of the session, learners will be able to apply a common understanding on how to:

  • Find existing positions
  • Create positions
  • Correct positions
  • Change position titles
  • Update reporting relationships
  • Reclassify positions
  • Transfer positions
  • Enter notes against a position

Pre-requisites: The HRIS Overview eLearning module must be taken before enrolling in this course.

Required training access to applications: Cisco AnyConnect and SAP Logon QT1 access.
