Administrative Staff & Artificial Intelligence (AI)

A suite of resources to support responsible use of AI

In July of 2025, the University of Toronto’s Task Force on AI released their report: Toward an AI-Ready University. The report’s recommendations span all activities that we engage in as a University, from teaching, learning, and research to operations and planning. They recognize the transformation capabilities of AI for our institution while noting that its use carries inherent risks, limitations, and ethical considerations. Additionally, the recommendations acknowledge that our community has various levels of comfort with and knowledge of AI, including how it might enhance daily tasks.

To this end, University HR & Labour Relations has created a suite of resources informed by recommendations of the AI Taskforce Report.
