Back to Indigenous Mentoring Day

Explore a career at U of T

You will spend the day learning and experiencing a career you’re interested in.

Mentees will job-shadow virtually for the day, allowing them to ask questions and experience firsthand what a day in the life of their desired career has to offer.

Representatives from the Office of Indigenous Initiatives, UTM Indigenous Centre, and First Nations House will speak in the morning to offer some insight into life at the University. We also invite all attendees to participate in the networking session and career fair the following day on March 31st held by the Career Exploration & Education Centre. The networking session will take place virtually. Sign-ups for the career fair can be found in the registration link below.

We are seeking Indigenous job seekers with:

  • A complete or in-progress post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • The ability to work with mentors in a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Curiosity and candor
