Back to Indigenous Mentoring Day

Explore a career at U of T

You will spend the day learning and experiencing a career you’re interested in.

Mentees will job-shadow virtually for the day, allowing them to ask questions and experience firsthand what a day in the life of their desired career has to offer.

Michael White, Director of First Nations House – Indigenous Student Services and other Indigenous members of the U of T community will also share their employment experiences with attendees and offer further insight into life at the University. We invite all mentees to participate in a networking session with some of the top Indigenous employers across the GTA. The networking session will take place virtually.

We are seeking Indigenous job seekers with:

  • A complete or in-progress post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • The ability to work with mentors in a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Curiosity and candor
