Call for Participants: Building Access Notice Consultations

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Office is working with the Facilities & Services (F&S) department at the St. George campus to integrate accessibility features in service alerts.

To facilitate this integration, F&S is conducting interviews to better understand the needs of the accessibility community.

Call for participants: share your experience about building access notices!

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Office and the Facilities & Services (F&S) department want to learn about your experience receiving building access notices.

Building access notices inform community members about upcoming construction work or service interruptions that impact the accessibility of our facilities. F&S is conducting interviews to better understand the experiences of those who use the accessibility elements of the built environment (for example, elevators and power-operated doors) to navigate our campus. These interviews will help inform how we can improve the usability of notices of temporary disruption.

Further information on can be found in this document explaining this campus accessibility alerts user research.
