Expanded Wellness Programs Through EFAP

Having a tough time? You are not alone. The University’s Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) offers a wealth of total well-being resources and interactive tools for you and your family. Expanded features from our new provider, LifeWorks, include instant chat with licensed counsellors, podcasts, habit trackers, guided relaxation sessions and more to fully support your well-being at work and at home. Find your invitation code from LifeWorks in your email or request a code to register. Available through the LifeWorks website, on IOS, and Android. 

Total Well-being Assessment 

Do you know your total well-being score? Find out with an online assessment comprised of four short questionnaires to measure your well-being across four pillars – mental, financial, social, and physical health. The assessment helps you see the big picture of your total well-being and provides personalized recommendations on how to take your first step towards a happier, healthier life.  

To access, log in to your LifeWorks account, select “Well-being” and click on “Start an Assessment”. 

CareNow 

CareNow is a proactive total well-being program delivered straight to your fingertips. No appointments necessary! With 20 cognitive-behavioural-therapy-based programs targeting anxiety, burnout, stress, and more, you can learn positive coping strategies to get you through life’s ups and downs. CareNow’s self-directed modules meet you wherever you are, whenever you want, providing you with the flexibility to choose a path of care at a pace that suits you and your life. 

Login to your Lifeworks account, select “Well-being” and find a CareNow program for you.
