The University of Toronto celebrates the service and dedication demonstrated by our retiring faculty members, librarians and staff through this annual recognition program.

Retirees receive a retirement certificate from the University as they embark on the next chapter of their lives. The initiative recognizes all retiring U of T employees, irrespective of their department, Faculty, or divisional affiliation, on behalf of the entire University each spring. It recognizes individuals who retired from the University over the past academic year.

2026-27 Retiree Recognition

U of T faculty members, librarians and staff who retire from the University of Toronto between July 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027, will receive their certificate in the spring of 2027.
