We report annually on our work to track our divisional and institutional landscape. This allows us, and the wider University community, to identify our impactful progress and address areas for improvement.

Our strategic approach to people strategy, equity and culture seeks to engage our community, advance equity, diversity and inclusion, deliver consistent and efficient service, and leverage business intelligence for decision-making.

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Annual Report

Vice-President Kelly Hannah-Moffat presented the 2019 Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Annual Report to Governing Council’s University Affairs Board on September 30, 2020. The document covers the period from January 1, 2019 to December  31, 2019.

People Strategy, Equity & Culture Annual Reports

When the COVID-19 pandemic emerged early in 2020, the University adopted a variety of measures to protect the health and safety of our community and the wider population, assist students in completing their courses, and support critical research focused on COVID-19. This report illustrates the essential role the Division played in this response while maintaining focus on our mission, vision, and values.

Vice-President Kelly Hannah-Moffat presented the 2020 HR & Equity Annual Report to Governing Council’s Business Board on Thursday, June 17, 2021. The document covers our activities over a 12-month period from January to December 2020.

Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and Ontario Disability Act Reports

Each year, the University of Toronto publishes its Ontario Disability Act (ODA) Report. These reports:

  • Outline the progress of the University with respect to accessibility on all three campuses
  • Speak to initiatives for the coming year
  • Demonstrate U of T’s goals and commitments to accessibility to all members working, studying or visiting the University

Employment Equity Annual Reports

Vice-President Kelly Hannah-Moffat presented the 2019 Employment Equity Annual Report to Governing Council’s Business Board on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. The document provides a snapshot of the composition of our tri-campus community and information about recruitment, promotions and departures of employees between January 2019 to December 2019.
